Disney + brings together some of the brightest stars in the Star Wars ™ galaxy for a family reunion much awaited by fans of the space adventure: “LEGO Star Wars: Happy Holidays”.
The all-new animated film today unveils its new poster and movie announcement. As for its date of availability on the platform, it will be at midnight on the night of November 16 to 17 in order to properly celebrate the “Day of Life” first introduced in 1978 in the “Star Wars” show. “LEGO Star Wars: Happy Holidays” brings Rey, Finn, Poe, Chewie, Rose and the droids together for a happy feast to commemorate “Day of the Life.”
The plot, which takes place immediately after the events depicted in STAR WARS: THE RISE OF SKYWALKER, shows how Rey is preparing for this feast day. Accompanied by BB-8, she embarks on a new adventure to better understand the Force. In a mysterious Jedi Temple, she slips through a space-time rift that makes her relive the most emblematic moments of the nine films of the Skywalker saga. She finds Luke Skywalker, Darth Vader, Yoda, Obi-Wan and many other famous characters, animated with more or less good intentions. Will she be home in time to participate with her friends in the “Day of Life” and discover the deeper meaning of the holiday spirit?
Many actors of the saga lend their voices in the original version to the characters of “LEGO Star Wars: Happy Holidays” including Kelly Marie Tran (Rose Tico), Billy Dee Williams (Lando Calrissian), Anthony Daniels (C-3PO). Those from the animated series “Star Wars: The Clone Wars” are also part of the adventure: Matt Lanter (Anakin Skywalker), Tom Kane (Yoda, Qui-Gon Jinn), James Arnold Taylor (Obi-Wan Kenobi), and Dee Bradley Baker (the clone troopers).
